The Parkersburg News and Sentinel is commemorating the centennial of Parkersburg High School on Dudley Avenue with a book denoting the last 100 years in photos, from its earliest days to contemporary times.

People are a vital part of the book and you can be included by sending us a comment of about 100 words on “What Parkersburg High Means to Me,”

As we turn the page to 2017, we will turn the page in a historical book. Parkersburg High School will mark the anniversary of an incredible journey - the 100th anniversary of the school being located on Dudley Avenue (the 150th anniversary of the school starting).

We hope that you will follow us on this journey. There will be many opportunities to celebrate the past and look forward to the future.

Join us and give true definition to Once A Big Red, Always a Big Red.
